![]() I’ve always loved reading since being a kid. From reading I also gained a deep interest in story writing throughout school. When I started A Levels/university reading became a less of a priority unfortunately. However since finishing university in mid May I decided to pick up my book again and start reading! I’ve bought a lot of books recently, mainly Disney inspired ones if I’m being honest. I thought why not share my book reviews (I’ll try to not give an spoilers) on my blog because my goal is to read at least five books by the end of the year (I’m on my third one at the moment!).

![]() Last month I went a trip with my Instagram pals to Disneyland Paris, and it was insane!! It was so different to any other trip I’ve been on before, but I loved every second. We mainly went for Dapper Day (an unofficial disney day where you dress formally) which was held on the Saturday, but we got to see and do lots of other things in-between. ![]() As of today (2nd April 2019) Disneyland Paris have put in place new changes towards their park tickets, as well as their Annual Passes. If you’ve been around my blog for a while, you may remember I wrote a Disneyland Paris Annual Pass Guide when I recently returned from the parks in September. So now they are changing, I thought why not give you an updated version! I will be comparing the prices and perks to the ‘old’ APs to give you an idea of whether it is still worth it. Another pin blog for you! Last week I was just scrolling through Ebay at disney pins (I have bought two others from there and it was a pretty good find), not really wanting to bid/buy any. Then I miraculously came across not one but three Rescuers pins- two were from one seller. I couldn’t believe my luck and I knew straight away I had to do something. The Penny pin (the letter one) I bid for and honestly didn’t think I would get it as two other people were involved, but I did have to bid a bit higher than I would have liked. But I got it! And the Bernard and Bianca pins (they came as one) was just a ‘buy now’ listing so I thought why not, when will I get this chance again? Probably never seeing as The Rescuers merch is very hard to come by. Obviously, buying off Ebay or other websites you have to be very careful to not buy ‘scraper’ or fake pins as there are a lot online. So I made sure as best as I could that these pins were real before I bid and bought them. I am no expert but from I can tell in person they are real. The prices for them were fairly reasonable too which was great, and the delivery only took a few days which was great. The Penny pin is a hidden Mickey pin from 2008, and the other two pins from what I know are from the Disney Store in the U.S. They arrived yesterday and I am so happy with them. The Rescuers has always been one of my all time favourites and it makes me super sad there isn’t a lot of merch out for it. It is a 1977 film so it should be more appreciated like the films Beauty and The Beast and The Lion King for example in my opinion. Having said that Disney has only recently started to really acknowledge Goofy Movie and Hercules for example, so hopefully The Rescuers will too! Anyway, I am super happy with the pins and I cannot explain how lucky I feel to have actually found those pins online. The pins are super cute and they look amazing on my pin board, next to my ShopDisney The Rescuers Christmas decoration- yes I keep this decoration out all year round because it is the only other merch I have dedicated to the film (shown in picture)! I hope I can find similar pins to add to my collection! Here’s a close up picture of the pins! Lidia x Social Media:Happy Saturday everyone, hope you are all having a great weekend! If you follow my Disney Instagram (link at the end of this post) you will have seen that on Sunday I explored London with one of my best friends, Dani! We met through both having a disney Instagram but I can happily call her one of my closest friends. Internet friends are the best! Anyway we decided we wanted to have a day around London to explore, but to also take some pictures for our Instagram feeds- yes we are not ashamed that we are those girls haha. We went to several places: Westminster Abbey, London Eye, Notting Hill, Covent Garden and Victoria so I’m sure you’ll understand when we say our feet and legs hurt badly on Monday!! Nevertheless, I had the best time being surrounded by great company and a lot of pictures were taken! It was so lovely to spend a full day with Dani and not just going round Disney shops like we had done previously- even though that was really fun too! Also, it was lovely to wear Disney clothing and have some pictures taken of me without being at Disney for once!! I hope it shows you all that you don’t have to be at a Disney park to have a Disney photoshoot. Anyway I want to share with you a few of my favourite pictures because Dani’s camera was amazing at making me look decent for once haha. If you would like to see more pictures make sure you check out my both my Instagram’s as I will be posting a lot more pictures. Also I will be posting some on the Photography section of my blog too!! Thank you Dani for travelling all that way to spend a day with me. It was so enjoyable and memorable. I really hope we can do something similar in the future. Lidia x Social Media: |
