There's a lot of opinions when it comes to Disney and I wanted to share some of mine with you all. I just want to say though, these are my own thoughts you can agree or disagree with me on them if you want. I'm not here to offend or hurt anyone who has different opinions to me!! (Also I was inspired by Hannah's blog to write this, check her's out here: http://www.courageandkindness.co.uk/2017/08/my-unpopular-disney-opinions.html) 1. I don’t really like Star Wars I'm sorry, never really been a fan of the films! I would watch them though if I had to, I'm not saying I hate them! 2. Brother bear is the most underrated disney film I dont understand why people don't like the film! It's so cute and reminds me of my childhood when we would annoy mum to have on for the 100th time! I don't understand people who say they have never watched before either. 3. I still love FrozenI know all the words to all the songs and I'm not planning to forget them anytime soon. 4. Rapunzel is my favourite princessI loved the film, I love Rapunzel, I love Flynn what's more to say. 5. I love the idea of pin trading, but I only buy pins to collect themSo many disney enthusiasts pin trade all the time whenever they are at disney. I love disney pins so much, but I don't think I would trade any unless I end up with some that I don't want anymore. I love the idea of it though- meeting cast members and new people, but it doesn't really appeal to me sorry! All my pins in my collection have so much sentimental value and hold lots of memories, I just don't think I could part with them! 6. Soarin' is one of my favourite rides at EpcotI hear so many people saying how they always skip this ride, and I don't understand why! It's such a great, relaxing ride and yes it is annoying if you don't get the front row, but I still love it!! I never skip this one out- it holds so many memories of our disney trips!! 7. I like Peter Pan's flight but I wouldn't queue ages to ride itThis ride is very cute, and it is one you have to do... only if the queue time is short, in my opinion. It literally lasts less than five minutes, so to stand in a queue of over an hour is a bit insane if you ask me. 8. I'm not a massive fan of Beauty and the BeastLet me get something straight first. I love the film, love the characters especially beast, love the storyline. But if I had to mention a few favourite princess films it wouldn't be one of them. When I was younger I had watched the film, but I didn't really understand it and it actually was quite scary- I preferred Cinderella, Aladdin, Snow White. So it's only since becoming older I've watched it again and did fall in love with it. But it isn't my favourite, don't hate me. -What's your unpopular disney opinions? On Wednesday I went to see Aladdin: The musical and let me tell you something.. it was the best West End show I've ever seen. I'm still overwhelmed by the performance and it's Friday!!Since the show first came to the west end, I've always wanted to go and see it, so when I found out we had tickets I was super excited. I hadn't seen many spoilers either which was great, because when crazy amazing things happened (I'm trying so hard not to spoil it for you haha) I was so surprised- my mouth was wide open with a few tears in my eyes haha. We didn't book the tickets far in advance, it was kind of a last minute thing so I really wasn't hoping to have "good" seats- with a show that popular you would have thought all seats would have been taken. However, we got amazing seats, like incredible seats!! We were sat on the second row.. yes I'll repeat.. Second row from the front!!! And the tickets weren't that expensive, maybe because it was a week day?? Anyway, the fact we were sat literally on the stage meant we could see absolutely everything, from the amazing facial expressions of the actors, to the movement of different stage settings, to even sweat pouring off their faces- yes a bit gross I know. The orchestra was basically underneath the stage, so we could hear all the music which was lovely- you could see the conductor doing his thing too haha. Here's a picture to show you how close we were.. When we booked the tickets, we decided to get a brochure of all the different scenes, for a little memory of the show. I made sure I didn't look through it before the show started- didn't want any spoilers. Here's a picture from the brochure to give you a little insight into the show... Before the show started, when we collected the brochure, I noticed a cute little pin hanging up on the stand. If you know me, you'll know I'm a massive fan for disney pins so when I saw this I knew I had to get it. It's a little addition to my collection, to remind of the most magical evening. Another exciting thing about that evening, was the fact that I decided to take my Jasmine bag with me- yes I did just say Jasmine bag. It's a cross-the-body bag with Jasmine's face all on it- its amazing! As soon as I knew about the tickets were booked, I got so excited at the fact that I could take my Jasmine bag haha. And so many people were looking at it throughout the night, and smiling at me which was lovely. Even a little girl pointed to it and said "Aladdin bag!!" which was so cute haha. If you are big disney fan like me definitely grab some tickets to see it!! I understand now why the tickets can be expensive, with all the smoke, different tricks, over 300 costumes! (it was mentioned in the brochure), the different props and settings. It's definitely worth it and I would 100% see it again. Best evening ever.
Over the past few months I’ve seen a lot of bloggers, friends, generally everyone expressing how much love they have for The Ordinary. And to be honest I didn’t see the hype!
However, a few weeks ago I went to Shoreditch with a friend and we stumbled upon Box Park (which if you haven’t been, I highly recommend to have a look round there), and in one of the containers was The Ordinary. Both my friend and I were in desperate need of some new foundation so we thought why not be a little noisy around and check out the brand. I loved how the whole shop was set out, wish I had took pictures- it was very minimalistic, the theme was definitely black and white!! After spending a good amount of time browsing, my friend and I decided we wanted the serum foundation- it is light coverage, and looked to be more nourishing on the skin. And can I say I'm so happy I decided to by one.
The colour matches my skin so much which is a miracle, and the coverage is amazing. The foundation is a bit liquidly but when blended in, it isn’t a huge problem. The foundation is long lasting too and blends so easily; it doesn't feel like you're wearing anything, which is great for the long days at uni. It's got quite a dewy finish which is out of my comfort zone as I tend to be drawn towards matte finishes- however for a natural look it's perfect. If you're more a high coverage kinda gal then I wouldn't recommend the serum foundation- the coverage foundation is meant to be pretty high coverage. I may go back to the shop and purchase the coverage foundation for when I want a higher, matte coverage.
I now understand why everyone has amazing things to say about The Ordinary foundation!! Plus it’s super cheap and cruelty free!
Yes I know Christmas is only 42 sleeps away but a lot of the people I know are not even thinking about Christmas already! Normally I’m one of those people-I don’t really start about it until the start of December but this year is different. I don’t know why but I’ve already started doing things towards the big day!!
1. I'm already playing Christmas music.
Normally I hate it when my friends are playing Christmas music all day long, but this year I’m the one doing it!! "All I want for Christmas is youuuuuuu"!!!
2. I’ve changed my phone home screen to a Christmas tree.
Yes I’ve even done this..I’m going all out this year?
3. I bought Christmas presents.
Not all of them though. I’ve started thinking what to get family members but I have bought friends Christmas presents!!
4. I'm already thinking of the Christmas food!!
This has definitely been on my mind lately. You’ve got to love Christmas Day food!
5. Thinking about the New Year.
I know this doesn’t have anything to do with christmas but once the festive period is over, the new year is on everyone’s minds!
I’ve been reminiscing about all the 2016 memories and it’s sad how quickly the year has gone! I’ve made such lovely friends from uni who I share so many memories with, the ups and downs this year has brought, all the adventures I’ve done during the summer, meeting up with my besties and creating so many more memories, plus all the amazing memories I have with my family. This year has been so full of highs and lows but it’s taught me so much.
It always gets to this time of year where I'm craving to go on holiday abroad. Maybe because it's getting colder and I'm in need of some sunshine!! I've got the urge to go and visit new place, see different cultures, just explore more of the world.
Don't get me wrong I am very fortune to have visited places like Japan, Italy, Florida but I still want to explore more. I made this list quite some time ago and I never knew when the right time would be to post it on here, but I thought seeing as I'm dying to be on holiday again I would share it with you now. The places composed on this list, are locations which I would love to visit some time in future- obviously I would love to see more places but I've shortened it down otherwise it would be very long blog. Australia![]()
Ever since my mum shared stories when she lived there as a little girl, it's been one of the top places on my list. It's such a cool place, with so many adventurous things to do. Whether visiting in winter or in summer it would be a holiday I would never forget. Also, I would love to take mum back as she hasn't been since she lived there!!
Santorini
Clear blue ocean water, sunshine, whitewashed walls... what more could you want in a holiday? All the pictures I've seen online are to die for. It seems such a relaxing holiday, strolling round the little streets and watching the gorgeous sunsets.

In particular Disneyland- is that a surprise? This a place I'm dying to see, disney looks so amazing there. I would love to visit Santa Monica beach, Warner Bros studios all the tourist spots!!
I would to go during the summer when the sun is out and everyone is on the beach... ahhh my dream. Norway
Some of my family went to Norway not long ago on a cruise and omg it looked amazing. The landscape was incredible it looked like a painting!! The mountains with lakes in-between and the little towns with the cute houses... such beautiful scenery.
CanadaNew York
One of the places I am dying to visit. To be in the big apple atmosphere, seeing the tourist attractions, going shopping!! The 9/11 memorial is something I really want to see, as well as Central Park, Times Square, Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building. Just to be on the streets where Suits and Gossip Girl were filmed is a dream.
Barcelona![]()
I've never been to Spain before, so anywhere would be on my bucket list! Barcelona's architecture, beaches and the summer weather is definitely something I need to experience- as well as the Spanish culture.
Bahamas
I really want to go here whilst on a Disney Cruise!!! That would be amazing, going to the Caribbean whilst fully immersed in the Disney magic! They even have their own island just for disney Cruiseline guests. It looks like such a relaxing holiday, whilst having disney fun thrown into the mix. Definitely one of my top holidays to do!!
Cape Town![]()
Cape Town looks incredible. Ever since watching vlogs where people visited Cape Town, it's been on my list. All the scenery is beautiful, with the sandy beaches and the mountains. There's so many adventurous things to do there that would really push me out of my comfort zone!!
Turks and Caicos![]()
Since watching a tv discovery programme based there, it's made me fall in love with the islands. It's absolutely stunning!! Sandy beaches, warm sunshine, and you can even do water activities like snorkelling- definitely a place I have to visit!!
-What places would you like the visit? Have you visited any of the places I've mentioned on my list?
Disney songs are no doubt my favourite type of music, and I'm always so curious to know what people's favourite songs are. As much as I love these ten songs, all Disney songs are amazing and I would happily list of them as my favourite!!
Whenever I'm on Spotify (which is a lot at the moment) I always end up listening to Disney music, which instantly puts me in a better mood. Whether it's a Disney classic album, Disney Princesses album or a particular movie album I always end up smiling when the song finishes!! Anyway, here's my top ten favourites- it was very hard to choose only ten!! 1. "I see the light"- Tangled2. "Hakuna Matata"- Lion King3. "A Dream is a wish your heart makes"- Cinderella4. "A whole new world"- Aladdin5. "Everybody wants to be a cat"- Aristocats6. " Part of your world"- The little mermaid7. "Beauty and the beast" - Beauty and the beast8. "I just can't wait to be king"- Lion King9. "This is Halloween"- The Nightmare before Christmas10. "You've got a friend in me"- Toy Story
As much as I love every disney film, the Disney Princess soundtracks are my favourite. I have always been a Disney princess at heart, since the beginning. It would be a very long post if I explained why I chose these particular songs- so many lovely memories are linked to the songs.
