Hello Winter! I don’t know about you but, this week has been so chilly compared to other weeks. But we are in November now so it shouldn’t really be a surprise haha. Here’s a small post sharing with you five things I love doing during this season. 1. Wear cosy clothes I love wearing thick jumpers, tights, boots and being wrapped up warm in scarves and big coats. 2. Have lots of movie days wrapped in blankets If you know me well, you’ll know I will be doing this a lot within this season. I would much rather spend cold nights during autumn and winter under blankets at home watching movies (especially disney movies) than going out partying/clubbing. It’s so cosy especially when we hear the crackling fire in the background. 3. Go on a Jack the Ripper tour It doesn’t have to be a Jack the Ripper tour, just any tour for that matter (especially at night). I’ve done the Ripper tour twice now and both were during the colder months. I absolutely loved it and I think it made it more atmospheric during the colder nights-it was so eerie standing where the ripper was, in the freezing cold 4. Drink lots and lots of hot chocolate I’m a sucker for hot chocolate (I love chocolate and I don’t drink tea or coffee) so of course I make the most of it during the colder months. Whether it’s homemade or not, there’s always time for hot chocolate. 5. Pamper nightsI don’t know about you, but during winter I seem to pamper myself more. I love doing face masks, using bath bombs, and painting my nails (now that I’ve finally grown them out!) It’s a lovely to way to unwind after a heavy day at university, and give yourself some me time. I normally pamper myself whilst watching Netflix which is a great combination. Hope your Wednesday is going great, and let me know what your favourite things to do during winter are. Lidia xx Social Media:

Another pin blog for you! Last week I was just scrolling through Ebay at disney pins (I have bought two others from there and it was a pretty good find), not really wanting to bid/buy any. Then I miraculously came across not one but three Rescuers pins- two were from one seller. I couldn’t believe my luck and I knew straight away I had to do something. The Penny pin (the letter one) I bid for and honestly didn’t think I would get it as two other people were involved, but I did have to bid a bit higher than I would have liked. But I got it! And the Bernard and Bianca pins (they came as one) was just a ‘buy now’ listing so I thought why not, when will I get this chance again? Probably never seeing as The Rescuers merch is very hard to come by. Obviously, buying off Ebay or other websites you have to be very careful to not buy ‘scraper’ or fake pins as there are a lot online. So I made sure as best as I could that these pins were real before I bid and bought them. I am no expert but from I can tell in person they are real. The prices for them were fairly reasonable too which was great, and the delivery only took a few days which was great. The Penny pin is a hidden Mickey pin from 2008, and the other two pins from what I know are from the Disney Store in the U.S. They arrived yesterday and I am so happy with them. The Rescuers has always been one of my all time favourites and it makes me super sad there isn’t a lot of merch out for it. It is a 1977 film so it should be more appreciated like the films Beauty and The Beast and The Lion King for example in my opinion. Having said that Disney has only recently started to really acknowledge Goofy Movie and Hercules for example, so hopefully The Rescuers will too! Anyway, I am super happy with the pins and I cannot explain how lucky I feel to have actually found those pins online. The pins are super cute and they look amazing on my pin board, next to my ShopDisney The Rescuers Christmas decoration- yes I keep this decoration out all year round because it is the only other merch I have dedicated to the film (shown in picture)! I hope I can find similar pins to add to my collection! Here’s a close up picture of the pins! Lidia x Social Media:The return of Christmas blogs, wooo!!! This is only a little post to make you all aware of the exciting planned for this season. I love the festive season so much, so I thought why not start Christmas blogs now in November! I know it is a bit early, but Halloween is over so why not get into the Christmassy mood now. I'm so excited to get into the Christmas spirit and write some Christmas themed blogs! I have got some great blogs planned which I hope you will all love. I have also created a category section dedicated to all things Christmas- it is called "Christmas '18" and located on the right side of the page. Keep your eyes peeled for more blogs, and be prepared to get into the festive spirit with me on my blog. If you have any recommendations on festive posts you would love to see, then please let me know as I am always up for suggestions and trying something new. Lidia x Social Media: |
