Hey everyone. I’m sorry I’ve been so rubbish keeping my blog up to date. I promise this time I’m back for good though. First a little life update… I’ve finished my second year at university which is crazy- can it slow down please?? The year has been very stressful with so more at stake! I’ve loved getting to know all my university friends more too, everyone is so amazing love them all! I have also started some volunteering work at my secondary school. It has been so much fun, doing presentations on my favourite topics which I have been learning about at university. The kids have been so great too- interacting and asking questions, they really have been getting into everything I’ve presented to them. And I have a few more days doing that which I’m so looking forward to. Plus if you know me, you’ll know it's a big deal for me to do presentations in front of people as I’m so shy. This volunteering has helped me to be more confident which is amazing! Also my nails are still growing!!! I’m so happy I haven’t started to bite them again. They look completely different to the last time I blogged about them- they are super long and I’m loving it. Anyway, I’ve been wanting to do a new series on here for while, and I thought why not combine my love for pins and photography!! So in this series I'll show you close ups of some of my favourite Disney pins, as well as the background stories to them- because trust me every pin I own has some kind of memory/story haha. I also will put a pin collection category onto the right hand side sidebar so you can easily access all the series. Why not start with the Mickey Memories Pins!!! If you don’t know, Disney Store are releasing a set of Limited Edition Mickey pins for every month in 2018. The pins vary in design every month as they show the different Mickey designs throughout the years- for example this months pins were 1950s space style Mickey (correct me if I’m wrong), and June pins have a 1960s hippy vibe. As well as the pins you can get a mug and a Mickey plush every month with the design, but I didn’t want to spend too much on collecting all three items every single month!! Plus the Mickey plush is super hard to get hold of. And because I love Disney pins I had to start to collect them. My favourite monthly pins so far are the January pins as they are the classic Steamboat Willie design. They are black and white and contain a Mickey glove/hand, a wheel of ship and of course Steamboat Willie. They are the cutest and just remind me of how it all started way back in the 1920s. I wish I had tried to get the January Mickey plush because it was Steamboat Willie and who doesn’t love the original Mickey?! I’m so glad I’ve started to collect them and I will be showing more of the different months in this series too!! Here’s some close ups of the pins: There you have it!! My first post of my Pin Collection series. I’m super excited to start this and I hope you will all be interested in seeing my pin collection- mostly Disney pins to be honest haha. Let me know if you are collecting the Mickey memories pins and which month is your favourite at the minute. My social medias are linked below. Lidia xx Wanna check out my Social Media?

Well this film HAS to be one of my favourite marvel movies of all time. I obviously won’t give out any spoilers because that would be very horrible, but if you like marvel movies definitely check this one out!!! All the amazing reviews I’ve received from friends (they saw it before me) were so true… this film does not disappoint, even though the ending was very sad (just giving you a heads up, not a spoiler!!). I was so blown away by it, I went to see it a second time today, because I just couldn’t get enough of it!! And of course both times I had to wear my Infinity War top (from primark). I just had to!! I saw it firstly on Monday at the BFI cinema in Waterloo and that experience was amazing. Seeing the film in IMAX and with a massive screen was incredible and definitely made the wait to see it worth while- so many people I know had gone to see it the first few days after the release date but I’m so glad I waited!! My brother and mum also loved the film, my brother more so because he’s also a massive marvel fan- mum was so glad she saw it though! Today was the second time I went to see it, and let me tell you it was just as good as the first time. I went with just my brother but we only saw it in 2D this time at my local cinema. Yes, in that respect it wasn’t as good as seeing it at the BFI but the film was just as amazing. I saw and heard so many things which I hadn’t seen on Monday, possibly because I was so overwhelmed and excited on Monday to see it!! The ending however still shocked me and made me shed a tear (okay maybe more than one tear) even though I knew exactly what happened- the ending is just too much!! In the cinema we found these two amazing pieces of artwork and I had to take some pictures of them! I don't know about you, but I have never seen artwork like this in a cinema before so it was so lovely to see this! Hulk, Black Widow and Spiderman feature on the first one and Thanos *cue the booing* is featured on the other artwork. How cool are they?!! ![]() The storyline was incredible and I loved how all the marvel characters featured in the film. I did think they would all be present in at least one scene but that unfortunately didn’t happen. Maybe it will Infinity War part two. Of course I was so excited to see my favourite characters (Loki, Spiderman, Captain America and Bucky) on the big screen as I cannot remember the last time I saw marvel movie in the cinema!! Also I am so happy I watched Thor, Ragnarok before going to see film because I knew actually what was going on with Thor’s eye patch! If you can definitely watch as many marvel films as you can before seeing Infinity War, as it will help you to understand more of what is going on. Having said that I haven’t seen Black Panther yet so I didn’t know all the characters involved during the Black Panther scenes, but it wasn’t a major problem. The amount of action involved also blew my mind. Of course there is going to be lots of action during marvel films, especially as all the marvel films have been leading up to infinity war. But it was just so intense and action packed full!! The film did have a lot of funny references and jokes which helped to lighten the mood on this massive war! I definitely prefer it when marvel films have a bit of humour involved!! Also Odeon cinemas have been giving out Infinity War posters which I think is amazing!! There are five different ones featuring all the main characters, and we have got three of them- we have double of the Captain America posters but I’m not complaining! The other two posters feature Guardians of the Galaxy characters and one of just Thanos *cue the booing*. I am not sure how long they will giving out posters for, but it’s definitely something they should more often! Heres a picture of the three different designs we have got. Overall, I am so glad I got to see the film twice within a week- I'm a bit obsessed, and that's kinda sad, haha!! I literally cannot deal with how the film ended…I want to know so badly what's going to happen in the next film!! I don’t think I can wait until next year, does anyone feel the same??!!! Let me know if you’ve seen Infinity War and your thoughts on it. Lidia xx My Social Media: |
