Happy Wednesday everyone! Sorry I havent posted I went to Disneyland Paris for a few days (I will be posting of what we got up to very soon), but last Tuesday I went to the O2 arena for Sam Smith’s concert and I wanted to share some pictures which I took!! The last time I saw Sam Smith was back in 2013 at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball, so seeing him in concert last week was very different- he was so much more confident than when I saw him last. The concert overall was amazing, and I loved seeing so many people sat around around me enjoying it too! The staging was so good and very dramatic which definitely added to the performance. My favourite part was when he sung “Writings on the walls” which was the James Bond Spectre theme song. It was so dramatic and powerful and it was good to hear the song live! He sung all his hit songs along with some off his new album, and his voice was so angelic! Here’s some pictures I got: A few of my friends also went to see him on different dates to me, and they all explained how it was amazing and so enjoyable. I am so happy I got to go, and I will definitely be going to his next tour! Keep your eyes peeled for my Disneyland Paris blogs which I will be posting within the next few weeks! This is such an exciting post ahhh! If you read my post a few weeks ago you’ll have read that I had booked a nail appointment for the first time ever! Anyway, yesterday I went for my appointment and my nails are completely different- in a great way! I went to the John Lewis nail bar and had a manicure which included a full nail treatment (shaping, cuticle care and nail polishing) as well as an exfoliating massage, and I can just say it was probably one of the best things ever. Seeing as I’ve never done it before (I have bitten my nails ever since I was little) my mum wanted to get me the full treatment in order to make my nails look absolutely amazing. It was so worth it as my nails don’t look like they belong to me haha!! Massive thanks to the lovely woman who transformed my bitten nails into beautiful ones!! I decided to use gel polish instead of normal, as the lovely woman said it would help my nails to grow and it won’t damage them (unless I pick at them which I definitely won’t, they are too pretty to do that!). As I’m heading to Disneyland Paris in a few days I thought why not get a blue colour so then they will match the 25th anniversary decorations! I got a dark blue colour and honestly I’m in love it!! The appointment didn’t go as smooth as I thought it would be as, when she started to cut my gross cuticles two of my nails started to bleed- it would probably due to the fact that they had never been cut before and I do have sensitive skin. The problem was when I had my hand under the lamp they started to bleed even more which was a complete nightmare- I felt so sorry for the woman!! Luckily by the third and final coat the cuts stopped bleeding, however they still are a bit sore and red, but that’s expected. The appointment lasted one hour and it was lovely and relaxing. I’m so happy I’ve gotten out of the biting habit! Here’s a few pictures of my pretty nails!! I unfortunately couldnt find any pictures of what they looked like before I stopped- probably because I didn’t like having my nails on show when pictures were being taken!!! This is a big milestone for me so I’m so happy I’ve got to share it on my blog as I want it to be full with milestones and amazing things I’ve achieved over the years!! Speaking of milestones I got my fringe back which I have been thinking of doing for a while! the last time I got a fringe was way back in 2009 in year six, so I look completely different!! Here’s a picture of me with my new friend who covers my very high forehead up very very well!!! Thanks for reading! I will be posting a post tomorrow as I’m seeing Sam Smith in concert tonight, so ill make sure to take lots of pictures to share it on here!! Follow me on my socials too if you want to see more!! Lidia x Social Media:Happy Sunday everyone!! Sorry I’ve been very inactive recently on here. I’ve had a few assignments to get done and basically life has gotten in the way a bit! But I’m back with another post, and again it’s disney related seeing as it's only a few days until I head to Disneyland Paris!! This will help you get to know me a bit more too!! Hope you enjoy! I decided to only choose 20 questions, as I didn’t want it to be long post but you can find the full Disney tag questions here if you would like to try it yourself- https://www.tagquestions.net/disney-tag-questions/ 1. Favourite Animal:There are so many disney animals I love, but it would have be between simba because he has been my favourite since I was little, and Marie just because she is so sassy and adorable- I wish I had her level of sass. 2. Favourite Classic:It has to be Snow White- An all time classic, which holds a lot of memories from when I was younger. 3. Favourite Hero:Heracles 100%! Just look at him, how can you not say he isn’t your favourite hero?!! 4. Favourite Heroine:I’m so torn between rapunzel as she is one of my favourite princesses and the way she risks her life for her love Flynn just kills me everytime, and Nani from Lilo and Stitch- yes I bet you didn’t see that coming!! Nani is sooo underrated but her determination to inspire Lilo to be creative and be the best role model for Lilo, is just so amazing, and deserves to be a heroine!! 5. Favourite Kiss:Rapunzel and Flynn… nothing else to say haha. 6. Favourite Love Song:“I see the light” In Tangled, “Once Upon a Dream” in Sleeping Beauty, “A Whole New World” in Aladdin, “So This is Love” in Cinderella, “I wont say I’m in Love” in Hercules, “When you Wish Upon a Star” in Pinocchio and “Someones Waiting for You” in The Rescuers are just a few of my favourites- yes I can’t just pick one haha. 7. Favourite Original Character:Of course it has to be either Mickey or Minnie! 8. Favourite Pixar Film:Again I have so many I love but heres a few- Up, Monsters Inc, Toy Story and The Incredibles. 9. Favourite Princess:Rapunzel or Cinderella. 10. Favourite Quote:“Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten”- Lilo and Stitch. 11. Favourite Sequel:When I was a kid I loved watching “The King of Thieves” which is the sequel to Aladdin. I need to rewatch it but it is definitely my favourite. 12. Favourite theme attraction:I love Tower of Terror, Thunder Mountain and Haunted Mansion!! 13. Movies that makes you cry:To be honest all Disney movies make me cry, but in particular The Rescuers, Dumbo and Lilo and Stitch. 14. Movies that make you laugh:Monsters Inc, Toy Story and Zootroplis! 15. Overrated Movie:I don’t have an overrated movie but if I had to choose one it would have be Frozen. I love the film and I literally know all the words to the songs but I feel like sometimes it can be a bit overrated. I cannot wait for Arendelle to come to Disneyland Paris though! 16. Saddest Death:Definitely when Flynn died, as I was sooo shocked and of course heartbroken haha- he came back to life though so all is good! And when Ray died in Princess and the Frog- I 100% did not expect that. 17. Song that always gets stuck in your head:“Once Upon a Dream” and any HSM song to be honest haha 18. The first movie you saw:This is such a hard one because I personally have no clue… maybe it was Snow White? Or could it have been Cinderella? 19. The Saddest Scene from your favourite movie:Definitely when Flynn dies and Rapunzel gets put in chains by Mother Gothel!! 20. Underrated Movie:Brother Bear and The Rescuers because not a lot of people I know talk about these two films. Also, there isn’t a lot of merch to symbolise these films which makes me very sad!! Disney, can we have some pleaseeee??? There you go! 20 questions from the Disney Tag! I hope you’ve enjoyed getting to know me a bit more, in relation to Disney! Why don’t you give the Disney Tag a go and make sure you let me know when you’ve done it!!! I will post a few more blogs within the next two or three days so make sure you keep your eyes peeled. Hope you have a lovely weekend! Lidia xx My Socials: |
