Hey everyone! I feel like I need to post a little update on what's been going these past few months! If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know I've been regularly doing driving lessons and the last update I gave was that I had booked my driving test. Well... I failed, but you know it's all a learning curve. What frustrates me though is that I failed on something so stupid. I was pulling out of a side road and there was a car approaching slowly towards me (there was plenty of space for me to pull out, and it was completely safe as I wouldn't have gone otherwise), and the invigilator slammed on the brakes and told me I wouldn't have made it out in time if I had of fully pulled out- I disagree, but they know best!! *cue sarcasm* So yeah I failed but you can't pass everything first time, and I now know what to expect the next time I do my test- I have no clue yet when that will be, due to tonnes of uni work but I'll let you know. I've settled into uni again after having some time off at Christmas! This term is definitely the most hectic out of my two years at uni so far! I have quite a few assignments left, but at least I don't have to go in for lectures after the Easter holidays- wooo start of summer!!! I also am going to be doing some volunteering at my secondary school soon which is going to be so much fun! I will helping the English department out with some linguistic things (which is what I do at uni for those who don't know, so it's worked out really well!). I am slightly nervous as it will be in front of sixth formers, but what's the worst that could happen?!! And I still have plenty of time to prepare myself so that's reassuring. If you haven't read my previous blogs, I'm off to Disneyland Paris in April to celebrate my brother's birthday!!! We are super excited and it will be lovely to spend some time with dad at my favourite place! Also, in regards to disney (yes I know I mention it A LOT on my blog) I started a little Instagram to display all my disney pictures!! I never would have thought it would be loved and supported by so many people in the Disney community, and it honestly makes me incredibly happy! They are all so supportive and kind to everyone and it's lovely to see especially in the world we live in at the moment. I get to live through everyone's pictures and videos which is great for when I've got the Disney blues!!! If you would like to have a little noisy here's my Disney Instagram: @_tangledindisney I hope everyone is doing well and I cannot believe I've been posting regularly since September!! I'm so glad I've been able to stick it- let's hope I keep it up!! Stay tuned for another post soon and make sure you keep up to date with my social medias!! Lidia xx My social medias:

For this disney post I have decided to make a list of things I really want to do at wdw or things I’ve doing previously and highly recommend doing. Obviously there’s a lot more things I would class as must dos in WDW but I’m only limiting myself to five- I don’t want this post to be super loooong. 1. Visit PandoraDefinitely something you have to do if you are going to wdw. Obviously we haven’t got the chance to see it in person yet, as the last trip was 2013 but we cannot wait to explore Pandora when we next go. I’ve seen so many pictures on Instagram of pandora at night as well as during the day, and in my opinion pandora at night looks insane. Everything is fluorescent and the colours are so bright on the floor etc. And don’t forget the rides! Ive made sure I haven’t spoilt too much of the rides, so when we go it will be a surprise, but from what I’ve heard they are both worth waiting over two hours to do. 2. Ride as many of the rides as possible!Make sure you go on the rides as many times as you can, because you won't wanna regret it when you get back home- trust me it hurts. Also, try and go on the rides you don't really wanna go on because I have done this so many times and it isn't a nice feeling when you get home- I've done with rides where I was scared to go on, or even ones which had a longer queue than we wanted to wait for. Definitely try and go on all of them if you can! 3. Try at least one snack from every country in the world showcase I think the last time we went, we did try a lot of different snacks in Epcot but not all of them. I definitely want to see if we can do this next time. If you haven’t done this, it’s again a definite must do! 4. Meet Mickey and MinnieEvery time we visit disney this is something we have to do- and who wouldn’t?! Whether it’s Mickey and Minnie in safari gear, or them in their normal clothing it’s something you have to do. I prefer meeting them together as their interactions with each other are the cutest, but then again if you meet them separately Mickey gives you extra kisses and hugs because he’s not afraid of what minnie will say- cheeky haha. If you have read some of my previous disney posts, you’ll know how much I would love to meet Talking Mickey! 5. Character BreakfastI love doing Character breakfasts, and it is something we always try and do when going to any disney park! In relation to WDW however, the best character breakfast dining I’ve done is at Crystal Palace in Magic kindgom! You get to meet some of the Winnie the pooh characters which is amazing, plus the buffet food you get is soooo delicious- it's probably changed slightly since I went back in 2013 but I know it’s still just as good. The character meets are so lovely too, as they spend quite a while with you, and I would definitely recommend to do this character breakfast! I hope this post has given you a little idea into my must dos for WDW. As I said before however there are so many more I could tell you but that would make this post super long and no one wants to read that!! Make sure you let me know your must dos at WDW, as well as at the other disney parks as I may do a Disneyland Paris must dos soon!! Lidia xx Check out my Social Media:Just a little update but...If you’ve noticed the title, then you’ll realise we have another trip planned! I cannot wait!! I’m heading to DLP in April with my brother and dad, which we’ve never done before just the three of us. We are going as a birthday treat for my brother as his is at the end of march, so I can’t wait to treat him for for his birthday at the magical place! I can’t believe I will be going to Paris twice in a year, as I went with my friend in June last year! My dad however hasn’t been to DLP since 2000 I think- which was my first ever trip to Disney!! I’m sure it will be very weird for him, and for my brother and I as we haven’t been to Disney with him since 2005, when we first went to WDW! My brother hasn’t been to DLP since 2014 so it will be really lovely for him to see all the new additions too! We’ve been looking to go on this trip for a while but we kept holding back in case we saw any cheaper deals and we eventually did! Disneyland Paris website are offering 25% off hotel and tickets plus free half board, and altogether was a lot cheaper than what we had seen before. PLUS we decided to get direct trains both ways, Disney express AND photo pass because the holiday was cheaper than expected. We are very excited and I can’t believe it’s not long until we go! I will be blogging the days (I will probably upload them when we get back), which will include all the things we get up to! I’m very excited for this as I’ve never done it before so it’s some new to appear on here! Definitely keep an eye out if you are interesting in reading them! Let me know if you are off to Disney anytime soon, or if even you’re thinking of going I would love to know! Lidia xx Want to follow my Social Medias?Happy Monday! Seeing as Monday's can be the worst day of the week, I thought why not share my favourite places to take pictures at Disney!- hoping to make your Monday feel a bit more magical! These aren't in any particular order, and trust me when I say it was SO difficult to narrow the list down to only five! I had so much fun writing this post, and I even delved into our Disney photos from our previous trips, which was so exciting. In front of the castleThis has to be the most obvious place in the parks. Whether it’s Sleeping Beauty’s castle or Cinderella’s castle I can’t help but admire the view. I don’t know anyone who would go to Disney and not get a photo taken with the castle. My advice would be to take lots of photos with the castle whether on Main Street with the castle behind or right at the front of it, just make sure you take as many as you can- I always regret not taking enough pictures haha. Also make use of the PhotoPass photographers positioned by the castle, and even anywhere else around the park! Here’s some pictures I’ve taken of the castle throughout the years. Mount PrometheusIf you are planning to visit Tokyo Disneyland, you have to take pictures of the volcano at DisneySea. I love the pictures I took when I went to Tokyo disney but especially the ones at Disneysea, as this park is nothing like any of the other parks I’ve visited- for starters theres a massive volcano at the centre!! Whether you take pictures of the volcano at night or during the day, you are guaranteed beautiful pictures. Here’s some of my favourite pictures of Mount Prometheus which I took when we went in 2016: Mediterranean HarbourAgain another place to take lovely pictures at Disneysea. As a whole I would say Disneysea is kind of similar to Epcot as there are different locations like American Waterfront, Mermaid Lagoon, Arabian Coast. But at the same time its completely different. One of the places I was constantly taking pictures of was Mediterranean Harbour, especially when we would walk past Arabian Coast and Mermaid Lagoon to get to the harbour- this section from what I can remember is slightly elevated so you can see the whole harbour which is amazing. You can also see my favourite, Tower of Terror in the distance too! Below are some pictures I took at night and during the day- they are stunning: The two Boulevards Sunset and Hollywood Boulevards in Hollywood Studios at WDW have to be my favourite places for pictures at the studios- when toy story land comes however this might change haha. Hollywood Boulevard firstly has the centre stage positioned right at the end, and is one of the first things you’ll see when entering the park. Because the last time we went was in 2013, we remember seeing the Sorcerer’s hat (which in my opinion shouldn’t have been taken away), however now sits the Chinese Theatre which held The Great Movie Ride. It’s such a lovely place to stand and take pictures. Sunset Boulevard is one of my favourite places in WDW, mainly due to the row of palm tress which directly leads you to Tower of Terror (aka one of my favourite rides ever). When I walk down this strip, that's when I know I’m home- cringy I know but still, doesn’t everyone have that feeling? Again here’s some cute pictures from our 2013 trip (ignore how I look like a five year old, and I have no clue what face my brother was pulling either haha): Character meet and greetsMeeting characters is a must do at the parks, and it's also a lovely way to get pictures with your favourite characters!! The interactions you get with characters can be so different and so funny too, which makes the wait even more worth while! Here’s some pictures from previous trips I’ve been on!! I hope you've enjoyed this blog post and seeing some of my favourite pictures!! Let me know what your favourites places in the parks to take pictures- I would love to know if we have the same favourites!! My social medias will be linked below. Lidia xx Let's get social: |
