January is right around the corner so I wanted to share my 2016 goals; I haven't stuck to them in previous years but I really hope this time will be different! I have been reflecting on what I have achieved this year, and what things I would like to achieve in the upcoming 12months. Enjoy!
1.To upload more on my blog website. I really love writing blogs and sharing my favourite things we you all, so hopefully I'll be able to spare some time to blog writing in 2016. 2.Stop a silly little habit. I don't want to say what this habit is (because it's really embarrassing) but I have been doing this habit for ages now and I just can't stand it anymore; if you know me well you will probably be able to figure it out! 3.Start exercising more and eat healthier. I'm sure everyone has both on their New Years Resolutions list but this year I really want to start becoming healthier and to overall just tone my body, for the summer especially. 4.Keep focusing on my studies. I really want to finish my last year of school on a high note, and in order to do that I need to pass my ALevels.....I'm determined! I don't want to get distracted especially now that I'm at the last hurdle and I know I can achieve great things. 5.Use less social media. I know I need to do this in order to focus more on my ALevels as well as spending more quality time with my family; I use social media way too much, so I really only want to use it every once in a while. 6.Save my money for the holidays. I've already been thinking about the summer holidays and where I'd like to go with my family so I definitely need to start saving my money for the summer; no more spending on things I don't need. I have set a few questions in my mind when wanting to buy clothes etc...."Do I really need it?" "Is it essential?" "Is it life threatening?" That should stop myself from buying pointless items, haha! I hope you enjoyed reading my list. I really want to achieve all of these and I will be so proud of myself if I do; it would be the first year ever, haha! I wish you all a great 2016 and I hope you all have amazing New Year celebrations whatever you are doing!

I've been reminiscing on lots of different things that have happened throughout this year and I suddenly came across asking myself the question "what are my favourite movies of this year?". Below are some of my favourite movies that may or may not have come out this year... Enjoy reading!
1. The Duff- I hadn't seen this film before until I was at my friends birthday party and everyone decided to watch this movie!! I hadn't got any clue what it was about(only a brief explanation from my friends) so I was intrigued to watch it! It is definitely in the comedy genre, but it is a really feel good film that makes your face hurt afterwards, from laughing so much! It reminds me of mean girls mixed with pitch perfect, haha! 2. Mockingjay: Part 2 (Hunger Games)- I went to the cinema to watch it and I must admit it was amazing! I have read all the hunger games books so I knew what was coming but I honestly didn't accept it to be that good. I would definitely recommend watching it if you've read the books, or even if you like action packed, adventure movies. 3. Crimson Peak- Okay, so this film was absolutely amazing! My friend Liz and I had desperately been waiting for it to come into cinemas, and seeing as this came out in October I was hoping it was going to be rated 15 so I could go and see it;we had a feeling it would be rated 18..... But it wasn't yippee!! The storyline was so intense and Tom Hiddleston was ncredible in it too may I just add! It's a gothic romance (definitely not a horror like most reviews call it) with unexpected twists and turns, with the occasional jumpscare. It's a definite must see. 4. Love Actually- Now I know this is going to sound very bad but I have only recently watched it (for some random reason) and I absolutely loved it! It's a romantic comedy but is based about the up coming weeks to Christmas. I did however, at first, think that it would have more of a Christmas storyline to it but overall I think it is a great film to watch at Christmas; It is definitely on my "favourite Christmas films" list! 5. Avengers: Age of Ultron- This film was epic. That's all I can say. It's amazing for the people who love superheroes and love action packed films! It's another film from the avengers series and I must say it is probably the best one in my opinion! I love superheroes so when I heard this was out in the cinema I knew I had to go and watch it! I went to see it in IMAX with my mum and brother and we were all buzzing after seeing it. If you are a fan of superheroes it is a must see. 6. Maze runner: Scorch Trials- This film was also incredible! It is the second one of the maze runner series and is filled with action and twists and turns! This film contained more jumpscares than the previous one which I didn't expect, but I feel it was definitely necessary for the storyline; it was lovely to see Dylan O'Brien as the main character again, hehe! 7. That Awkward Moment- This film makes me cry with laughter every time I sit and watch it! It is such a great film if you need cheering up and want to be entertained! Zac Efron is the main character which the main reason why I decided to watch it, and I'm so glad I did because it cheers me up every time! So sit back, relax and enjoy watching the films listed! I highly recommend you to watch all of them if you haven't already! I was thinking of another blog post I could do before Christmas Day so I needed ideas to gather inspiration, my friends gave me some amazing ideas and different websites to look on for inspiration. Whilst looking on Christmassy blogs I came across "The Ultimate Christmas Playlist" on Zoe Sugg's (Zoella) blog website! This blog post gave me inspiration to create my own Christmas playlist for you all to see; I will link her blog down below so you can check her's out. There's so many Christmas songs that have been released, old and new, so it was very different to choose my favourite ones. The favourites listed below are the ones I love hearing on the radio and in the background of adverts; they make me super festive and excited for Christmas and I wanted to share them with you, enjoy! 1. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas- Michael Bublé
2. All I want for Christmas is you- Mariah Carey 3. Last Christmas-Wham 4. Have yourself a merry little Christmas-Michael Bublé 5. Santa Baby- Michael Bublé 6. White Christmas- Bing Crosby 7. Do they know it's Christmas?- Band Aid 8. Merry Christmas Everyone- Shakin' Stevens 9. Santa Claus is Coming to Town- Frank Sinatra 10. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow- Michael Bublé 11. I wish it could be Christmas everyday- Wizard 12. Rockin' around the Christmas tree- Brenda Lee 13. Have yourself a merry little Christmas- Sam Smith 14. Frosty the Snowman- Jackson 5 15. Baby it's cold outside- Idina Menzel and Michael Bublé 16. One more sleep- Leona Lewis Zoe's Playlist(_) Seeing as it is a week today until Christmas day, I thought it would be a good idea to upload another Christmas blog post- plus I'm getting very very excited!!!! This week has really made me realise how close Christmas is and I have been thinking about past Christmas memories that I've had with my friends and family, so I thought I'd like to share some of my favourite ones.
Every Christmas my mum, brother and I would decorate the Christmas tree and we would always look forward to this because, for my brother and I it would be the start of the Christmas countdown. When we were younger, the only thing we wanted to do was to put the Disney decorations on the tree, making mum do everything else! I remember on several occasions mum would replace the baubles that we had put on the tree, because they weren't in the right place according to mum, haha! I used to get so upset because all my baubles had been moved to somewhere else on the tree! We would listen to Christmas songs and sing and dance, which would get us so hyper for the big day! Now looking back I find it so funny because when I decorate the tree with mum (and I don't just put the Disney baubles on the tree anymore) I actually say to mum 'where does this one need to go?' or 'Mum is this section okay?' or 'Mum I think this section needs more baubles'; Mum still does replace some of my decorations though, haha! Another Christmas memory is when we would visit our family on Boxing day. It was so lovely to spend time with my family, play different board games (mostly monopoly, and then spending hours and hours trying to win) as well as enjoying Nan's delicious roast dinner!!! This is probably one of the best memories because I don't get to see my family a lot (unfortunately I only see them during the holidays), so it is always amazing to spend lots of time with the people that mean so much to me! Last year I invited my friend round, Elizabeth, for a Christmas sleepover where we decorated the christmas tree, listened to Christmas songs and wore Santa hats for most of the sleepover. It was lovely to have a Christmas themed sleepover and it definitely got me into the christmas spirit; I started listening to lots of Christmas music as well as watching the traditional Christmas movies that we all love! I'm so looking forward to spend this Christmas with my family, so if you are reading this.... see you very very soon!!!!!! It is going to be lovely to just spend time with them, and forget about everything at the moment that is making my life very hectic, for example sixth form- what a surprise, haha. I can't wait to indulge myself in lots of Christmas food, and then feeling absolutely stuffed afterwards, haha! Also, it is a lovely to think that this year is coming to a close, yes this year has been everything I had hoped and more, but I'm so looking forward to starting afresh and creating new challenges for myself! Merry Christmas! Hope you enjoy reading my favourite memories of Christmas, and I wish you all a lovely, relaxing holiday- try not to eat too much ;) As you can tell from the title, this blog is going Christmas related, yippee!! I thought it would be very suitable seeing as it is only 19 days until the big day! The Christmas adverts have arrived and the festive decorations have appeared in shop windows, so you can't deny that you are excited (even if it is only a tiny bit) for Christmas day! Towards the end of November, most of my friends were getting hyper and excited for the big day, but to be honest I really wasn't. My friends were playing Christmas songs, wearing Christmas fluffy socks and looking out for shop windows that were starting to get festive, but for some reason I just wasn't excited. I think it was mainly because I couldn't believe that this year is coming to an end;it only seemed like yesterday since we were all making New Years Revolutions, and desperately waiting for 2015 to begin! So when everywhere started to get the Christmas decorations out and Christmas songs starting to be played on the radio, it really hit me that 2015 is very nearly over! But now I am fully immersed into the Christmas spirit; the tree is up, and I have even purchased a Christmas dress- I have told my mum though that I will be still wearing the dress come February time, haha! I know this is very bad of me, but I do not own a Christmas jumper yet. I don't really know why I haven't got one but there are loads that look amazing! Yesterday I went into the centre of London and everywhere you looked had Christmas decorations, so I thought that it would be a great idea to take some pictures of the different Christmas lights, shop decorations to link in with this blog! Oxford Street especially looked amazing, so it definitely deserved a mention! Below are some of my pictures, enjoy! Selfridges shop windows were so amazing!!! The biggest Christmas tree I've ever seen;It is at St.Pancras. The tree was fully made from Disney toys!!!! Hope you've enjoyed looking at my Christmas pictures, and I hope this blog gets you into the Christmas spirit!
