![]() Hey everyone!!! Wow it's been a while! The past few weeks have been so hectic with university work that I haven't had time to sit down and write for my blog. I have had so many assignments to do and it's still not stopping!

Another pin blog for you! Last week I was just scrolling through Ebay at disney pins (I have bought two others from there and it was a pretty good find), not really wanting to bid/buy any. Then I miraculously came across not one but three Rescuers pins- two were from one seller. I couldn’t believe my luck and I knew straight away I had to do something. The Penny pin (the letter one) I bid for and honestly didn’t think I would get it as two other people were involved, but I did have to bid a bit higher than I would have liked. But I got it! And the Bernard and Bianca pins (they came as one) was just a ‘buy now’ listing so I thought why not, when will I get this chance again? Probably never seeing as The Rescuers merch is very hard to come by. Obviously, buying off Ebay or other websites you have to be very careful to not buy ‘scraper’ or fake pins as there are a lot online. So I made sure as best as I could that these pins were real before I bid and bought them. I am no expert but from I can tell in person they are real. The prices for them were fairly reasonable too which was great, and the delivery only took a few days which was great. The Penny pin is a hidden Mickey pin from 2008, and the other two pins from what I know are from the Disney Store in the U.S. They arrived yesterday and I am so happy with them. The Rescuers has always been one of my all time favourites and it makes me super sad there isn’t a lot of merch out for it. It is a 1977 film so it should be more appreciated like the films Beauty and The Beast and The Lion King for example in my opinion. Having said that Disney has only recently started to really acknowledge Goofy Movie and Hercules for example, so hopefully The Rescuers will too! Anyway, I am super happy with the pins and I cannot explain how lucky I feel to have actually found those pins online. The pins are super cute and they look amazing on my pin board, next to my ShopDisney The Rescuers Christmas decoration- yes I keep this decoration out all year round because it is the only other merch I have dedicated to the film (shown in picture)! I hope I can find similar pins to add to my collection! Here’s a close up picture of the pins! Lidia x Social Media:Finally getting back into writing more blogs for my pin collection series.I feel so bad for abandoning this series, because I really want to share my collection!! Anyway, this blog is about one of my most precious pins… As some of you may know, I’m a massive Tangled fan so anything Rapunzel or Tangled inspired gets my attention straight away…. Combine that with my love of pins and you get the perfect combination (to me anyway). I don’t have a big collection of Tangled pins, but this pin I’m about to show you is one of my favourites. I bought the pin from Ebay, and it was the first bid I won so I was very happy about that. This pin has always been on my wish list (because of my massive love for Tangled), ever since it first came out in 2015. It’s a Disney Store limited edition of 600, which also makes me want to scream inside- this was the first limited edition pin to be added to my collection aaaah. There’s something about the detail and the fact that Mother Gothel and the Stabbington Brothers are on a pin just makes me so happy- I feel like there isn’t many out there. The detail though isn’t too intricate but it gives off such a good story. You can see the characters personality through the detail. They are part of the long list of my favourite villains too, which also makes me so happy to have it in my collection. Also, I love the fact that it has a golden frame around the characters, and it gives off the impression that the characters are popping out of the frame. The colours are so vibrant, and the pin is actually quite big too. I love it so much, and I’m so glad I finally have in my Tangled collection. Here’s a picture of the pin, and of course I had to photograph it with my Tokyo Disneyland Tangled t-shirt!! Lidia xx Social Media:I really love this new series I’m starting on my blog. Pins have always been a massive part of my life and one of the reasons why I love disney so much! The pin I’m going to talk about today, is honestly one of the cutest pins in my collection. Again I will give a bit of background into this pin as all of my pins have some kind of memory or meaning attached to it. The pin is so gorgeous and features two of my favourite characters. This pin is part of Disneyland Paris’s collection of couples and is a fairly new pin (in the parks and in my collection). I got this on my recent trip to Disneyland Paris after seeing it everywhere online. I knew had I get it as it is so adorable- Aladdin and jasmine holding hands with the cute cartoon style!! As soon as I saw this pin on the pin rack I grabbed it straight away. I couldn’t walk away without this pin! I just love it so much even though it hasn’t been in my collection for long. I loved all the other couples pins too, I really wish I had bought more- cinderella and charming especially. They all have cute expressions, and I just love that they are holding hands- there isn’t many pins out there (that I’ve seen anyway) which shows that. I love how they are wearing their original outfits too. It is also quite a big pin too, which was very surprising and it looks lovely with my other Aladdin themed pins. I hoping to get a lot more because Aladdin is one of my favourite disney movies. Also when taking this picture I decided to place my genie lamp tea pot from primark (I think it's too lovely to be used for tea!), and two other aladdin pins in my collection (one from the Aladdin musical and jasmine in a blue sparkly gown) in the background to show off the different aladdin theme items I have! I will be mentioning those pins in future blog posts too. Aladdin is definitely one of my main collections as I have always loved the movie and its always connected with me from being a child. I cannot wait to collect more pins, and create blog posts for them! I really love sharing my passion for disney on my blog and this is definitely my favourite way of doing that. Let me know if you collect pins (not even Disney related ones) and your favourite collections/pins. Lidia xx Social media:Hey everyone. I’m sorry I’ve been so rubbish keeping my blog up to date. I promise this time I’m back for good though. First a little life update… I’ve finished my second year at university which is crazy- can it slow down please?? The year has been very stressful with so more at stake! I’ve loved getting to know all my university friends more too, everyone is so amazing love them all! I have also started some volunteering work at my secondary school. It has been so much fun, doing presentations on my favourite topics which I have been learning about at university. The kids have been so great too- interacting and asking questions, they really have been getting into everything I’ve presented to them. And I have a few more days doing that which I’m so looking forward to. Plus if you know me, you’ll know it's a big deal for me to do presentations in front of people as I’m so shy. This volunteering has helped me to be more confident which is amazing! Also my nails are still growing!!! I’m so happy I haven’t started to bite them again. They look completely different to the last time I blogged about them- they are super long and I’m loving it. Anyway, I’ve been wanting to do a new series on here for while, and I thought why not combine my love for pins and photography!! So in this series I'll show you close ups of some of my favourite Disney pins, as well as the background stories to them- because trust me every pin I own has some kind of memory/story haha. I also will put a pin collection category onto the right hand side sidebar so you can easily access all the series. Why not start with the Mickey Memories Pins!!! If you don’t know, Disney Store are releasing a set of Limited Edition Mickey pins for every month in 2018. The pins vary in design every month as they show the different Mickey designs throughout the years- for example this months pins were 1950s space style Mickey (correct me if I’m wrong), and June pins have a 1960s hippy vibe. As well as the pins you can get a mug and a Mickey plush every month with the design, but I didn’t want to spend too much on collecting all three items every single month!! Plus the Mickey plush is super hard to get hold of. And because I love Disney pins I had to start to collect them. My favourite monthly pins so far are the January pins as they are the classic Steamboat Willie design. They are black and white and contain a Mickey glove/hand, a wheel of ship and of course Steamboat Willie. They are the cutest and just remind me of how it all started way back in the 1920s. I wish I had tried to get the January Mickey plush because it was Steamboat Willie and who doesn’t love the original Mickey?! I’m so glad I’ve started to collect them and I will be showing more of the different months in this series too!! Here’s some close ups of the pins: There you have it!! My first post of my Pin Collection series. I’m super excited to start this and I hope you will all be interested in seeing my pin collection- mostly Disney pins to be honest haha. Let me know if you are collecting the Mickey memories pins and which month is your favourite at the minute. My social medias are linked below. Lidia xx Wanna check out my Social Media? |
