![]() As of today (2nd April 2019) Disneyland Paris have put in place new changes towards their park tickets, as well as their Annual Passes. If you’ve been around my blog for a while, you may remember I wrote a Disneyland Paris Annual Pass Guide when I recently returned from the parks in September. So now they are changing, I thought why not give you an updated version! I will be comparing the prices and perks to the ‘old’ APs to give you an idea of whether it is still worth it. 1.Discovery Price before 2nd April= €149 (€9 per month following an initial €55 payment). Price after 2nd April= €179 (€11 per month following an initial €60 payment). Perks before 2nd April:
2. Magic Flex Price before 2nd April= €219 (€15 per month following an initial €55 payment). Price after 2nd April= €259 (€19 per month following an initial €60 payment). Perks before 2nd April:
3. Magic Plus Price before 2nd April= €259 (€19 per month following an initial €55 payment). Price after 2nd April= €299 (€22 per month following an initial €60 payment). Perks before 2nd April:
4. Infinity Price before 2nd April= €399 (€32 per month following an initial €55 payment) Price after 2nd April= €449 (€36 per month following an initial €60 payment) Perks before 2nd April:
*One thing to also is that the referral scheme has been cancelled. I assume this means pass holders can no longer sponsor three people who want to purchase a pass. Also, this means you no longer get six months free added to your pass when you have sponsored three people. I am not 100% certain however so make sure to conduct more research into this* What happens if I have purchased an AP before 2nd April?! From what I have read online, Disneyland Paris will honour the perks you have on your 'old' AP. This means if you have a trip coming up you will be able to use guest storage for free (if you have Magic Plus for example). However, I am not 100% certain as I have not seen Disneyland Paris guarantee this, so don't quote me on it haha. My Opinion...Personally, I don’t think I will be renewing my AP in September, as it seems there are less perks now for Magic Plus holders even though the prices have increased. I no longer feel like it is worth the money, personally, which is such a shame. Unfortunately, no AP for me means no more frequent trips to Disneyland Paris *cry* However, this is my personal opinion, so be sure to really consider whether it is right for you. I hope this post has shown you a clear comparison into the new changes, and has given you a clear idea on whether you should renew or a buy an AP. Lidia xx
