If you haven't seen my blog post about booking a cheap Disneyland Paris, click the link below. How to book a Disneyland Paris trip. Take breakfast snacksI have done this on my two recent trips to Disneyland Paris and it was great to save money and time. Take breakfast snacks like breakfast bars/packed croissants to eat before venturing into the parks. This saves money because some restaurants/snacks can be expensive. It also saves time because you don't then have to queue to get food when entering the park; you can just go and explore!! Reusable water bottles are your friendsTake reusable water bottles with you! I do this every time and I swear by it. Bottled water is expensive in the parks, and you can save up on plastic waste. There are free water fountains dotted around the parks, so you can fill up with water throughout the day. Take snacks/packed lunches I have taken snacks to have during the day, but I've known people to take packed lunches in the parks. Again it saves money and time, by not spending a bomb on food and having to queue in busy restaurants. Don't forget an umbrella and/or rain ponchosTake umbrellas/ rain jackets with you, so you don't have to buy them when you get there. These can be super expensive in the parks, so save money by taking your own. I always take rain stuff with me as you never know when you'll need it. Try eating at unusual timesIf you do want to eat at restaurants in the parks, try to eat unusual times, for example eating at 11-11:30am instead of 12pm or 1pm. This seems to help when going to any disney park to avoid the large queues. (Also make sure to check opening and closing times for places to eat inside the parks at Disneyland paris, because most close fairly early). Use the fastpass systemRemember you have FREE fast passes included in your disney tickets. Yes you can buy fast passes for certain attractions to guarantee getting on, but save your money. All you need to do is use your disney ticket to scan on machines outside attractions.
I hope this was helpful to keep costs down at Disney, because we all know how expensive these trips can be! I will be posting a blog post all about DLP fast passes, so keep your eyes peeled for that if you are interested. See y'all real soon! Remember I post blogs every Monday and Friday! Lidia x
