![]() If you've been following my Disney Instagram, you'll know I booked another Disney trip to Disneyland Paris with my family and one of my Disney pals. We managed to book this trip because we found really cheap deals, and I definitely think they are worth sharing how we found the cheap deals.. Book SeparatelyWe decided to book everything (tickets, hotel and travel) separately because it worked out a lot cheaper... and I mean a lot! Obviously, you can book everything together on the Disneyland Paris website, however I found it's always cheaper to book it separately. To come to this conclusion, we shopped around for the best deals. First of all, we looked at websites like booking.com, hotels.com, Expedia.com for hotels and compared prices. We also looked for Disney onsite hotels because sometimes these are available, on these types of websites. So keep a look out. When comparing websites, we also compared the dates too. Sometimes the day you plan on going may be more expensive then say, booking the day before. My advice is try to be as flexible as you can with dates (plus or minus two days for example), to guarantee you get the best price. Obviously this isn't always an option, but just bare that in mind. HotelWe all agreed the best hotel price for us, at the dates we chose, would be an offsite hotel. And the cheapest one for us (and the one with good location etc), was the Hipark by Adagio Serris, Val d'Europe hotel. I have stayed here before and I did a review on it last year (click here). I definitely think this is one of the best offsite hotels to save money and is in the BEST location- it always seems to be cheaper than other hotels! Booking.com for us had the best price for hotel room. Side note: we didn't get extra magic hours because we are staying offsite, however we are okay with that because we wanted this trip to be as cheap as possible. TravelWith travel we did compare flying to getting the Eurostar, however for us it is a lot easier to take the Eurostar. I know this way of travelling isn't the cheapest. However it is easier for us and with the money we saved on the hotel, we could afford to pay a little extra on travel. Plus with flying you have to also factor in transfers from the airport to Disney property, because it isn't close compared to getting on the Eurostar. Again, because we booked separately, we got our Eurostar tickets directly from Eurostar website. When deciding on dates, we did compare dates with the Eurostar as, prices again vary a lot depending on what day you travel to and from. I would advise to keep a tab on which dates are cheaper with the Eurostar, and then with hotels. Then compare which dates will be cheaper overall. TicketsNow my family and I don't have annual passes (my friend does however), so we needed to purchase some tickets. Again we shopped around and found that Attractiontix website had the best deal for Disneyland Paris tickets. Their four day tickets included park hopper (meaning you can hop between both parks), as well as some offers for restaurants. Plus the price was little bit cheaper compared to other websites (see below for those websites). Obviously with these tickets we don't get extra magic hours, however we are going for four days so we should be able to get everything done.
Side note: we always didn't get a dining plan (because we didn't book directly through Disney), but from past experience it wasn't worth it- if you want a separate blog post on that let me know. To recap shop around for best deals. Here's some tips to saving some money on Disneyland Paris trips: - Look at websites like booking.com, hotels.com, Expedia.com for hotels. Sometimes they may have disney onsite hotels available too so keep a look out. - Compare prices with disneyland Paris website booking everything together, and then without travel on disneyland Paris website. - Compare prices with those Disneyland Paris websites to booking everything separately. - Compare different ways to travel; plane and Eurostar. - If you don't have an AP and need tickets, check Disneyland Paris website, Attractiontix website, Attraction Tickets direct website. - Also decide what are your priorities! Do you want an onsite hotel? Are you okay with not having extra magic hours? Are you okay with staying offsite? Keep these in mind when booking. I hope this helps for anyone wanting a cheap trip to Disney! See ya'll real soon with a blog coming next week. Lidia x
