![]() On my last disney trip (beginning of September), I stayed off site for the first time at Disneyland Paris and let me tell you I loved it. I stayed at Hipark by Adagio Apartment Hotel near Disneyland Paris, so I thought why not give you a little review, just in case any of you are thinking “where can I stay to save money?”. I have spilt up the review into several sections, to make it easier to read but to also let you pick and choose what parts to you want to read- makes it a lot quicker than reading a whole blog!! I have also rated each section out of 5! I might use this rating system and layout in my future reviews too as I feel my reviews can get very long, so it will be easier for you all to read. Proximity to the parks: 4/5 StarsThe hotel was about 3 minutes away from the parks by bus, and about 10-15minutes walk. It was very close, and I didn’t even realise until we went on the bus to the hotel! The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars was because, the bus times to the park in the mornings weren’t great- it was considered as “off season” even though it wasn’t particularly empty in the parks. If you were to go peak season (summer holidays for example) the bus times would probably be a lot earlier. The first bus in a morning was at 8:30 which wasn’t great if you wanted to get to extra magic hours like us. This meant we had to leave the hotel at around 8am in order to make sure we were right by the gates for when they open at 8:15ish. Apart from that, the distance was great. The walk to the parks was very nice and wasn’t complicated at all. The bus stop from the parks to the hotel was behind the disney store in disney village so it wasn’t far at all from the parks. Also the receptionist gave us the bus timetable which was great. There was also a bakery around the corner from the hotel which was great because one morning we bought some pastries to have on the walk to the parks. It was closed on the final morning (a wednesday) so just bear that in mind. This is screenshot from Google Maps to show you how close it is to the parks!!! The Room: 5/5 StarsThe hotel room (which was technically a mini apartment) was just what we needed for two of us. There was a double bed by this lovely window which looked out onto the main road (which wasn’t busy in my opinion at night). In the same room there was a kitchenette, a tv, two tables and a chair. The bathroom was big and spacious, everything worked and was super clean. There was a wardrobe which wasn’t hugely spacious but it was fine for Danni and I. The safe however was placed on the top shelf in the wardrobe so if it wasn’t for Danni being able to reach it, we probably wouldn’t have been able to use it- I definitely could not reach it haha. There was also a full length mirror where the wardrobe was which was great. Overall everything was clean, and the room looked very modern as well as the lobby. It was just what we needed for two nights. Friendliness of staff: 5/5 StarsThe receptionist at check in was very welcoming and friendly. She spoke English which was great because my French isn’t good at all unfortunately. Check in was quick and easy- it took about 5 minutes if that. Then checking out was even quicker which was surprising. We didn’t have any problems with the room etc, so we didn’t really need to speak to staff but from our little experiences, they were very friendly. Overall: 5/5 StarsFor two nights this was a really good stay. It wasn’t exceptional or gave the same experience as disney hotels but it was very good for what we paid. It was cheap so what more could you ask! And with this being my first time staying offsite it was really pleasant. I would definitely stay here again, especially considering how much we saved instead choosing a disney hotels, and we were still great distance from the parks. However, as I said before I haven't stayed off site in partner hotels before- I don't really have anything to compare it to only the disney hotels. But hopefully on my next Disney trip I can stay at another partner hotel because it was too cheap. Maybe I'll do another hotel review in future? Let me know if you would like that. Anyway, here's a few pictures I took myself.. Lidia xx Social Media:
