Recently I've been very busy with school work and in order to help me stay on top of my work I have been organising myself. So I thought it would be a good idea to share some of my organisational tips- I know a lot of you are studying for exams so hopefully this post helps.....they definitely work for me!! 1. Lists: I'm always writing lists on paper or even my notes section on my phone, and I find it really helps to clear your mind. Lists are a great way to show you what you have to get done so that you can stay on top of the workload! I find that using colours really helps me to stay calm and relaxed, and makes the lists seem less daunting about the large amount of work I have to do.
2. Journal: This is similar to list making, however you can plan what you need to do on each day! You can also plan months in advance, which definitely helps me to be more organised! By doing this I am able to pace myself with my work and ensure that I'm not overpowering myself- I would get so stressed if I didn't! Again, I like to use colour to show what I need to get done and things that I have completed-this makes me feel better about myself as I can see what things I have completed, and motivates me to complete everything! 3. Reminders: I know a lot of people who don't use the reminders function on their phones, which is a bad idea in my opinion!! I always create reminders on my phone(even if it's not about school work) and set a time and date so that I get it done in time! It's so useful to ensure that you get it done within a certain timeframe, especially if it's something that you could easily forget! Don't abandon this function because it will really help you to get the work done within a short deadline!
